AquaC Urchin Series Protein Skimmer
The AquaC Urchin and Urchin Pro are sump versions of the popular Remora Hang-On skimmers. AquaC designed these skimmers to sit directly in a sump, and to be as easy to operate as possible.

No tuning is necessary, and they are as close to set-and-forget as you'll find.

The Urchin is a compact sump skimmer that is designed on our popular Remora Hang-On. These skimmers share the same internal structure and are identical in terms of performance. The Urchin is designed to sit inside of a sump, and is powered by a Maxi Jet 1200. There aren't many skimmers with such a small footprint with this level of performance.

The Urchin Pro is the sump version of the Remora Pro. These two skimmers share the same internal structure and are identical in terms of performance. The Urchin Pro can be purchased with a Rio 1400 or a Mag Drive 3, the latter resulting in the best performance.
