| The Galileo is designed for soft coral, planted tank, and fish only tanks that want the 20K look of metal halides and shimmer effect without the heat and other issues associated with metal halides. The power supply is mounted internally in the hood.
The LEDs are designed for independent operation of the Actinic Blue, Day White, and Moon lights. Each LED group has its own on-off switch and power cord. It is designed for each group to be plugged into its own timer. There is no onboard controller like the Solaris. The Galileo only has independent on off functions on Day White LED, Day Actinic Blue LED, and actinic blue night light.
The fixture can be mounted with the supplied mounting feet or by the eye hooks. As an option you can purchase the PFO Pendant hanger kit which allows for easy raising and lowering the fixture. The light can also be mounted in canopies with proper ventilation.
Each LED is independantly mounted for ease of replacement or upgrade if necessary.
Light Covearge: The tank must be taller than the front to back dimension. The light will be dispersed in a triangle fashion.
